A man in Studio City suffered a fractured ankle while hiking Saturday on a remote trail in Fryman Canyon Park, authorities said.
Paramedics were dispatched at 11:17 a.m. to Fryman Canyon Park at 8401 Mulholland Drive.
They stabilized the hiker and hoisted him aboard a hovering helicopter that took him to a hospital, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
